#398, Rock Salt 31.3' x 9.8'
Lineage:
This design was derived from our Rock Salt 34' center console design and it shares the same beam and deep V hull. It is perhaps unusual to use this deep V hull form for a research/sampling application, but given the outfitting (twin I/O and aft lifting arrangement) and the short, steep chop of Lake Erie, it is a good match in this case.
Thus far, this is the only house forward arrangement that we have done on our RockSalt family of hulls (23-34' deep V).
