#345, 22.4' x 8' Blunt Bow, Fire/Rescue & Utility
Lineage:
The hull pictured was built by Viking Welding as a fire/rescue boat, but variants of this design have been built for water sampling and utility work for state and federal agencies. The bow, chine and topsides are easily modified to a landing craft, though we also have an 8'6" (skin) design (#364) as a landing craft. Power has been twin 90 hp and twin 115 hp, and alternative single and twin hp's are possible depending upon arrangement and loadings with respect to weights and trim.
