#289-  33.3' x 12.1'  Flat Bottom Landing Craft

Lineage:

This 33' flat bottomed, landing craft hull design was built by Chester Boatworks.   It is essentially a scale-up of our 24' FBLC to handle 12,000# of equipment in controlled conditions.

As with most of our flat-bottomed hulls it has 3" x 1 1/2" (deep) channels running fore and aft along the bottom.  These channels provide panel stiffening and protection, but they also improve tracking and efficiency- the latter by virtue of trapping air between the channels at speed.

The NC cutting kit is available with or without a fuel tank (100 gal standard), helm console and leaning post, and of course custom design kits with any degree of changes are available.

Our existing range of flat bottom landing craft is 22', 24', 28' and 33', and other dimensions are easily  developed.
