#260;  18.4' x 8.1'  VBB

Lineage:

This 18' V bottomed, blunt bowed, design kit was first developed with Sound Marine in Holbrook, NY, and they have built numerous copies and configurations.    The drawings above are the initial version which has been built with various consoles and shelters.  Additionally there is a version with 3 1/2" less  freeboard, and both versions are shown in the photos above.  The initial design also led to a subsequent design (#502) for One3 powerboats that has a different bottom design to accommodate a more forward LCG that was specific to the particular application.  The design above has a 48" wide bow flat.

To date it has been built with a closed bow, but it is also a candidate for a landing craft bow either as is or with the bow width blown out a bit.
